Glåüm

Mothers of Glåüm

•••

The Mothers are attuned stewards of Glåüm. Through their dedicated mental and spiritual training, each of The Mothers has a unique channel to and understanding of Glåüm. Their role is not to lead with authority, but to collectively use their embodied understanding of Glåüm to hear and follow its guidance.

When questions arise that affect the broader shape of Glåüm, the Mothers create the container for open dialogue, reflection, and resolution—allowing the right action to emerge through shared attunement.

When uncertainty, complexity, or transition presents itself, the Mothers gather—not to decide for the community, but to help the community listen more deeply to itself.

They host the space where clarity unfolds.
They midwife choices—not dictate them.

Through shared presence and compassionate holding, the Mothers ensure that the spirit of Glåüm remains intact as the form evolves.

When a Council Cannot Reach Resolution

•••

If a council encounters a decision or conflict that cannot be resolved through its usual process, a larger attunement space may be called.

In this case, the Mothers of Glåüm will hold the container—not to decide, but to support a deeper discussion.

Participation is not limited by role. All who feel moved to attune are welcome.

Those who feel called may attend, listen, and contribute as part of a wider field of attunement. The intention is not to vote, debate, or force consensus—but to hold space until clarity, alignment, or next steps emerge naturally from the whole.

Council of Attunement

Policies for Harm and Disruption

•••

1. All Feelings Are Welcome. All Behaviours Are Not.

We honour the full spectrum of emotion, but actions that harm, intimidate, or destabilize the field will be addressed.

2. Attunement Comes First.

When disruption occurs, the first step is always an attunement attempt—someone from the Council of Attunement or another trusted member will check in, listen, and seek understanding.

3. Consent Is the Compass.

Violations of consent—verbal, physical, energetic, or emotional—will never be minimized or joked away, even in playful spaces.

4. Redirect, Don't Reject.

If someone's behaviour is unsafe or persistently misattuned, they may be asked to step back from Glåüm spaces temporarily. This is not punishment—it's a chance to pause, reflect, and reattune. Support will be offered when possible.

5. Reentry Is Possible—With Intention.

The door is never closed forever. To return, we ask for a genuine conversation, reflection on the harm caused, and a commitment to engaging in attunement practices. This may include restorative dialogue or other healing processes.

6. We Are Not Therapists, But We Are Allies.

While Glåüm holds space for many kinds of growth, we are not a crisis support or mental health service. If someone needs deeper support, we will help connect them to outside resources as best we can.
